This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how American Broadband and Telecommunications, LLC (“AMBT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information from or about you, as well as your choices and options to control certain uses and disclosures. This Privacy Policy applies to our telecommunications and internet services, our website, any apps, as well as the Devices you use with our services (collectively, “Services”).
This Privacy Policy is applicable to AMBT Service marketed under the American Assistance brand and any other brand “powered by American Broadband and Telecommunications Company, LLC.” AMBT may change this Privacy Policy from time to time.
What types of Personal Information do we collect about you?
Depending on how you interact with us or our Services, we may collect Personal Information from or about you, including:
- Identity and Contact Information: name, date of birth, mailing and billing address, email addresses, telephone numbers.
- Lifeline Eligibility Information: documentation of participation in eligible programs, proof of income, or Social Security number (used only to determine Lifeline eligibility).
- Billing and Payment Information: card or account details, purchase/order history, and billing information related to voice and text services.
- Correspondence Information: information you provide when communicating with us, including records and recordings.
- Usage Information: date/time/frequency/quantity of use, Wi-Fi usage, device activity, and Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI).
- Location Information: approximate device location via GPS, carrier networks, or other location technology.
- Device and Computer Information: IP address, browser, OS, software version, device type/model/identifier.
- Information Stored on Devices: any content left on a device when relinquished/exchanged/returned/recycled.
- General Information: demographics, media consumption, purchases, shopping habits, loyalty data, lifestyle preferences, interests, social media activity.
Personal Information does not include aggregate, de-identified, or anonymous information not reasonably capable of being linked to you or your household.
What are the sources of the Personal Information we collect about you?
- Information from You: when you apply, subscribe, purchase, or communicate with us, or provide a device.
- Information We Collect Automatically: via cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, log files, local storage (including HTML5/Flash), analytics and advertising tools.
- Information from Other Sources: affiliates, retail partners, social platforms, data aggregators, public databases, and other commercially available sources.
We may combine these sources.

We do not sell or knowingly allow third parties to access your Personal Information.
How might you share your Personal Information with third parties?
When using third-party websites, apps, carrier networks, links, plugins, or ads, those third parties may collect or receive your Personal Information under their own privacy policies. Review those policies and adjust device/service settings to restrict sharing.
Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI)
CPNI relates to the type, quantity, destination, configuration, location, and amount of your telecom usage and related billing info. We must protect CPNI and may use it to provide services, market related services, prevent fraud/unlawful use, and in aggregate form.

Data storage and protection
We maintain reasonable physical, technical, and procedural safeguards; encrypt sensitive data and passwords; store data in the U.S.; restrict access to those with a business need. No method of transmission or storage is guaranteed secure.
Children’s information
Services are not directed to children under 13. Parents/guardians may request deletion at 1.877.266.7212 or enroll@americanassistance.com.
Changes to this policy
We may modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Updates will be posted here with an effective date. We provide advance notice of materially adverse changes when feasible.

We comply with Nevada law (NRS 603A). You may request that we not sell your Personal Information. We do not currently sell Personal Information.
